Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern access to and use of Journey Panel. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Notice.

1. Account eligibility

An independent account holder must be at least 18 years old. An account identified as belonging to somebody under 18 becomes a dependant account and remains restricted until valid guardian or competent-person consent is recorded.

2. Account responsibilities

You must provide accurate information, protect your password, use only your own account, and promptly report suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it resulted from a security failure outside your control.

3. Journeys, invitations, and collaboration

You may create journeys, collaborate in journeys, and accept invitations where your account permissions allow it. Invitations must be used for legitimate collaboration and may not be used for spam, harassment, impersonation, or unlawful collection of personal information.

4. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its security, attempt unauthorised access, upload unlawful or harmful material, infringe another person's rights, or use information about other members for an unrelated purpose.

5. Content and ownership

You retain responsibility for content you submit. You grant the service permission to store and display that content only as needed to provide the journey and collaboration features you selected.

6. Account restriction and termination

Access may be restricted when information is incomplete, guardian consent is pending or withdrawn, security is at risk, or these Terms are materially breached. Records are retired through the system's soft-delete process where retention remains necessary.

7. Availability and changes

The service may change as features are developed. Material changes to these Terms will receive a new version and may require renewed acceptance.

Questions, complaints, or correction requests should be submitted to the system administrator or the organisation operating this Journey Panel installation.
